Description
The primary duties of attendants include the following:Â
Cleaning, maintaining and organising spaces before, during and after a guest's stayÂ
Washing and dusting the furnishings, stairways, bedrooms, and other public spacesÂ
Polishing windows, sanitising bathrooms and vacuuming carpetsÂ
Making the beds and changing the sheets and towels as the organisation directs supplying and managing items for guests, including refreshments, snacks, glass cups and bathroom facilitiesÂ
Discarding materials from rooms, such as trash, trays, dishes and other food service itemsÂ
Loading cleaning carts with sheets, supplies and amenities for guestsÂ
Informing other hotel staff if anything requires replacement, such as a bulb or an applianceÂ
Obeying hotel or motel rules and keeping a private, secure spaceÂ
Maintaining high standards for sheets and discarding any damaged suppliesÂ
Offering customer service and responding to inquiries from visitors reporting if rooms are vacant
